IHP VISION

Like systems, we believe that all residents should be able to equally access a combination of fit-for-purpose integrated health, social care and primary care estates that is affordable and sustainable for the system

IHP specialises in supporting local Integrated Care Systems to realise the when, where, and how in delivering their estates' strategy and direction of travel via:

  1. Identifying, planning, and delivering that improved estate.
     

  2. Making it more achievable through IHP’s own service innovations: 
     

    1. ​Sequential Investment to save opportunities to generate immediate unbudgeted funding  (Rates Recovery), improved VfM and affordability on current assets (Optimise increased utilisations) and planned investment (Optimise projects) in the short to medium term and can end, if desired, with a long term more cost-effective funding route (Alternative Finance Organisation) to help reach to systems long term estate transformation goal.

    2. Provision of the evidenced data, support and distributed access needed by the systems, its leads and decision-makers in a visual form from ‘one data source’ (Optimise) to manage the existing system and enable its transformation, implementation and operation via a ‘make operational’ (Optimise) turnkey contract
      ​

    3. Future-proofing and multiplying the systems delivery benefits via (Optimise’s) flexible structures' ability to hold systems' owned data and their multiple governance structures, with the latter given an increased ability for seamless stakeholder collaborations and asset sharing. It will not meet all organisation needs, but the resultant transparency and closer relationships are vital enablers to the AFO funding solution, bringing in local ownership under an umbrella of stakeholders comprising commissioners, tenants, and funders.

Above all, IHP is unique in its approach by transferring IP ownership, know-how, and tools (ICB hosted) to local systems, ensuring local systems retain control over their direction of travel.​
