Our History
2017
Established by the team that managed the North East London Primary Care Trust Estate and Clinical services contract transitions that set up the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and Local Government Public Health from 2010 to 2012.
IHP managed several CCG estate areas. It was formed to be innovative and bring in commercial experience.

IHP commenced the first Rates Recovery Services, resulting in the £25m funds recovered to date.
2019
IHP established the Alternative Finance Organisation; this was first made operational through the Newham AFO.
The Newham AFO currently has four new health centres in operation or in the final build stages from a funding commitment of £200m to a locally owned NHS and Local Government joint venture.
Pontoon Dock was the first health facility opened and delivered by the Newham AFO. The health facility provides new and improved services to 24,000 residents; it currently contains GP, PCN and Trust activities.

It was previously prioritised as needed, but unaffordable, but the combination of design, s106 and less expensive AFO funding delivered a project at a substantially lower cost.
2022+
Most recently, IHP has supported NHS England and Community Health Partnerships (CHP) PCN Toolkit Programme in North England, resulting in over 200 combined PCN clinical and estate plans across 4 ICBs.
That knowledge gained, together with the support of CHP, has now led to the release of one of our product services, Optimise-Power BI.
Optimise-Power BI, designed and developed by IHP, keeps the PCN Toolkit and ICS Infrastructure live and visual to decision makers across ICBS; it also opens the door as an enabler to substantive patient throughput increases on core assets, including those of CHP, benefiting patients and system finances.
